The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has announced that they have finalized plans to select ad hoc delegates for the upcoming governorship primaries on April 25.
These delegates will be chosen from the 203 wards in the state and will play a crucial role in the shadow election process.
The selection of these delegates is scheduled to take place on April 8, 2024, and they will subsequently vote to determine the party’s standard-bearer for the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
To ensure a fair and transparent electoral process, Senator Abba Moro has been appointed to lead a seven-man electoral committee responsible for overseeing the party’s electoral activities.
This committee will play a vital role in ensuring that the selection of delegates and the subsequent election of the party’s candidate is conducted in a free and fair manner.
