The decision was reached after a careful analysis of the party’s circumstances, according to Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary.
The NWC “Directed that all pending Intra-Party litigations across the country should be withdrawn forthwith,” according to Ologunagba, following the review.
“The NWC’s decision is in accordance with the spirit of unity and reconciliation within the PDP and is in conformity with Section 58 (1)(l) of the party’s 2017 amendment.
“All party leaders, important stakeholders, and members across the nation are urged by the NWC to stay united and carry on advancing the principles that have made the PDP a truly democratic party.
The Establishment Committee’s report for the appointment of a substantive Director General of the Peoples Democratic Institute, or PDI, was also taken into consideration and accepted by the NWC.
