Kingsley Chuku, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) state legal adviser in Rivers State, has warned Daniel Bwala, one of the party’s spokespeople for Atiku Abubakar, who ran for president in the most recent elections, to stop criticising Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Chuku was responding to a viral video that showed Atiku’s aide claiming that Wike was still a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) despite Atiku being one of the PDP’s founding fathers.

He claimed in a statement that Bwala’s criticism of Wike was beginning to resemble a “display of graduation of a mindset from psychology to psychosis”

“That infantile remark is a fiction of Bwala’s imagination,” the statement continues. “I would have assumed that a legal mind would undertake due homework before going public with such crass untruth, which calls into question his state of mind and his talent for selling falsehood.

“Prior to being elected as the chairman of the Obio/Akpor Local Government, Chief Nyesom Wike was a lawyer in Port Harcourt, working for the reputable law firm E.C. Ukala & Co. Unlike Bwala, whose legal practise is not beyond charge and bail.

It is impossible to understand where or how Bwala acquired such a degree of stupidity, and Atiku Abubakar’s decision to choose such a person to serve as his spokesperson with malign intent is highly questionable.

However, we in the Rivers State PDP will continue to keep Chief Nyesom Wike in the highest regard while simultaneously maintaining our position as the party’s pride.

The PDP will once again shine at the proper moment, especially following the approaching departure of Bwala and the other wolves Atiku let loose on the party, and Rivers State will continue to support the party as it always has.
