PDP Investigates Suswam, Tsegba, Tsumba for Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The PDP investigates Suswam, Tsegba, and Tsumba for their purported involvement in anti-party activities.

The PDP’s Benue State chapter Working Committee has called upon Senator Gabriel Suswam, the former governor of the state, alongside Terseer Tsumba and Terngu Tsegba among several others.

It is alleged that they participated in severe misconduct and engaged in anti-party actions within the state.

The party’s Publicity Secretary, Chief Bemgba Iortyom, has issued a statement calling for the appearance of summoned members before the State Working Committee on Thursday.

It was explained in the statement that due to the invasion of their State Secretariat located in Makurdi by a group led by John Ngbede, who has been suspended as State Chairman, development became necessary.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that the conflict within the state division of the party has caused a rift in PDP resulting in two separate factions.

One of the factions is under the control of former Governor Samuel Ortom, while his predecessor Suswam controls the other.

In addition, the statement indicated that reliable intelligence had unveiled the fact that individuals who stormed the secretariat were backed and aided by Suswam’s faction.

As per the declaration, Senator Gabriel Suswam faced grave accusations from the PDP which suggested that his actions were harmful to both the party’s welfare and vitality.
