The Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee, NWC, has established a specialized committee to oversee the evaluation of potential candidates in anticipation of the gubernatorial primary election in Ondo State.

According to a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the screening process is set to occur at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza in Abuja, on the upcoming Wednesday.
Ologunagba emphasized the importance of all PDP governorship aspirants, key stakeholders, leaders, and party members marking their calendars for the event and making necessary preparations.
The committee will be chaired by former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Sam Egwu, with Chief Rahman Owokoniran, the PDP Zonal Secretary for the South West, serving as the secretary.
The three female members of the Committee include Mrs Olivia Dazyman, Ambassador Gladys Ashemuke, and Ms Caroline Akinsete, who holds the position of the committee’s Administrative Secretary.
Additionally, the screening committee comprises Senator Isa Shuaibu Lau, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, and Mr Tanko Beji among its members.
