The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has attributed the deteriorating state of security, economic hardship, high food prices, and unemployment to the policies implemented by President Bola Tinubu.
During the 98th NEC meeting held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, the PDP expressed deep concern over the rise in terrorism, violence, and senseless killings that have occurred under Tinubu’s administration.
In a communique issued at the conclusion of the meeting, the NEC highlighted the negative impact of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government’s policies, which they deemed poorly executed and insensitive.
The party expressed distress over the worsening insecurity, the distressing economic challenges faced by Nigerians, the alarming rate of unemployment, and the exorbitant cost of essential commodities, which have contributed to widespread misery and hopelessness across the nation.

Furthermore, the NEC voiced serious apprehension regarding the surge in acts of terrorism, violence, and the distressing trend of mass abductions of innocent Nigerians, as well as the rampant attacks on communities in various parts of the country.
The committee strongly condemned the APC administration’s lack of sensitivity, indifference, incompetence, and arrogance, which they believe have resulted in a failure to prioritize the well-being of Nigerians.
The PDP NEC’s resolutions reflect their deep concern for the current state of affairs and their commitment to holding the ruling party accountable for its actions.
