A pastor of Winner Chapel Church in Omuo, Ekiti, named Enoch Gbinyiam was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison on a single count of rape of a juvenile on Thursday by the High Court of Ekiti State, presided over by Justice O.I.O. Ogunyemi. The court was convened in Ado Ekiti.
The survivor, a church member’s daughter, said that on one of her visits to the vicarage, the pastor had sexually assaulted her.

The prisoner gave her a sedative bottle of Fanta when she was visiting the vicarage. After drinking the Fanta, the unfortunate girl fell asleep and woke up with her vagina bleeding heavily.
