Parent Company West Power & Gas Terminates Former Eko DisCo CEO Tinuade Sanda Again

The CEO of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), Tinuade Sanda, has been terminated once again by West Power & Gas Limited (WPG), the parent company and primary stakeholder of EKEDC.

The announcement of Sanda’s dismissal was made official through a letter dated April 17, 2024, signed by Charles Momoh, the chairman of WPG.

WPG, a limited liability company operating under Nigerian law, holds a majority stake of 60% in Eko Disco and exercises control over the company through a consortium acquisition.

As reported by The Sun, Sanda was informed by WPG that she would receive three months’ salary in lieu of notice, with the amount already credited to her account.

Upon receiving the termination letter, Sanda is required to return all company properties, whether belonging to WPG or EKEDP, that are currently in her possession.
