Alan Pardew, the former manager of Newcastle United, has questioned Manchester United’s choice to make England striker Marcus Rashford the highest-paid player at the organisation.
Rashford put a stop to months of rumours by agreeing to a new five-year deal in July.
According to The Sun, the 25-year-old is currently making £375,000 per week, surpassing players like Raphael Varane and Casemiro to become the highest-paid Red Devil.
Rashford receives abuse from visiting teams, according to Pardew, who is doubtful if he merits his new hefty contract.
He’s undoubtedly among the top ten paid players in the nation, according to Pardew. Did he deserve that contract, really? When he was extremely successful at the tail end of last year, had he accomplished enough in that brief time? I’m not sure.
Rashford’s one flaw is that he’s never been a strong side of the pitch defender. The full-back down the pitch’s side enjoyed some success whenever I managed to score against him a couple of times. I believe that he is frequently taken advantage of by visiting teams on his side.
“Putting Ten Hag through the middle seems to be the best solution for now, and I am less vulnerable on the side. Does he actually have a number nine? There are various uncertainties about him.
