Palliatives are shared by the Kano governor with hospital patients

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has commenced the distribution of relief packages to patients receiving treatment in government hospitals throughout the State.

A statement from the director of special duties at the Kano State Ministry of Information, Sani Abba Yola, highlighted the compassionate nature of this assistance in easing the challenges faced by the people in Kano State.

Representing the governor, Kano State Commissioner of Information, Baba Halilu Dantiye, oversaw the distribution of 10 kilograms of rice and 10 kilograms of maize to each patient at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) and Abubakar Imam Urology Centre.

The distribution extended to General and Cottage Hospitals, Pediatric and Specialist Hospitals, with a total of 2,213 bags of rice and 2,213 bags of maize provided to patients in various healthcare facilities across the state.

This initiative aims to offer crucial support to those in need during these trying times, focusing on delivering food supplies to hospitalized patients in different healthcare settings.

Governor Yusuf’s administration places a high priority on initiatives that directly impact the lives of the people in the state, particularly those grappling with health issues.

The government’s commitment to assisting vulnerable populations, especially during times of illness, is evident through these efforts to provide aid where it is most required.
