The Oyo State Scholarship Board has opened its application portal for the Bursary Award aimed at supporting indigene students of Oyo State.
Governor Seyi Makinde has launched an initiative that seeks to offer monetary assistance to Oyo State-origin final-year students in public tertiary institutions all through Nigeria.
The purpose of the bursary award, as stated by Rt. Hon. Maroof Atilola, who serves as Chairman for the Oyo State Scholarship Board, is to ease the financial strain experienced by students and their families in light of ongoing economic hardships within Nigeria.

Students who meet the eligibility requirements, including those enrolled in public universities, polytechnics, clinical schools as well as aviation and maritime institutions can submit their bursary application via the dedicated website link: https://bursary.oyostate.gov.ng/2024/. The submission period commences on August 1 and concludes on August 31st of the year 2024.
