Oyo LG Polls: APC Senator Alli Raises Alarm, Claims OYSIEC Not Ready for Election
Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters and representative of Oyo South Senatorial District, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the level of preparation by the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) for the local government election in the state.
Speaking to journalists at his residence in Ibadan North Local Government Area, Alli criticized the late arrival of electoral materials in some parts of the state and highlighted the numerous abnormalities that have marred the election process.

He specifically mentioned complaints from Iseyin, Okeho, Ayete, and Idikan Onibata, emphasizing that the delayed arrival of materials raises questions about OYSIEC’s preparedness or their intentions.
Alli concluded by comparing the current situation to the previous year’s election, where voting had already concluded by the same time.
