For teachers of primary schools in all of the state’s zones, the Oyo State Government has approved the immediate issuance of a car loan.

This was stated in a statement given to journalists on Friday in Ibadan by Mr. Jacob Dairo, the Coordinating Director of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board.

He claims that the instructors will find some solace in the loan.

He claimed that the loan, which would be paid out in installments, was intended to lessen the impact of the nation’s economic crisis on the instructors.

He claims that Seyi Makinde, the state governor, approved the loan programme and directed that there should be no favouritism.

The beneficiaries were urged to use the loan for its intended purpose by the coordinating director.

According to him, the financial institutions’ facilities must be repaid within 40 months.

The state’s commissioner for education, science, and technology, Prof. Salihu Abdulwaheed, has stated his willingness to collaborate with all parties involved in the education industry.

The assurance was given by the commissioner on Thursday during a visit to the Directorate of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board.

In due course, more teachers would be hired by the state government for the basic education sub-sector, according to Abdulwaheed.

Dairo quoted him as saying that the government will make sure that staff members received comprehensive training for success.
