Oyo APC repositioning plan discussed with NASS members during meeting with Ganduje

The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has received a visit from members of the National Assembly from Oyo State who were elected on the party’s platform.

As per the MPs, the purpose of the visit was to unite the party’s national leadership in an attempt to resolve the issues confronting the party in the state.

The three state senators, Abdulfatai Buhari (Oyo North), Sharafadeen Alli (Oyo South), and Yunus Akintunde (Oyo Central), were part of the group that met Ganduje on Wednesday.

Some members of the House of Representatives were also part of the trip; these members are Tajudeen Abisodun, Lateef Mohammed, Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, Akeem Adeyemi, and Olafisoye Akinmoyede.

The legislators stated during their remarks that the visit was a component of their initiatives to strengthen party cohesiveness and unity in the state.

Alli said, speaking for his colleagues, that the visit was required to figure out how to deal with the problems the party was having in the state.

He declared: “This interaction is a big step in the right direction since it gave people a chance to talk, work together, and share ideas.

Noting that cohesion and unity among members are vital for party success and effectiveness, the initiative was a major start towards developing a virile, stronger, and united APC in the state.

“The activities and general advancement of the party will surely benefit from the delegation’s presence and interaction with the national leadership.”
