Isaac Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide and son of Bishop David Oyedepo, has responded to rumours that have been circulating regarding his standing in the church and his father’s relationship.

The younger Oyedepo highlighted in a statement that he is a devoted member of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel International, and that he has a straightforward relationship with his family, particularly his father. The message was posted on his X account on Tuesday.

He reaffirmed his dedication to the church and asked people to use caution when evaluating material that hasn’t been shared on his official social media accounts.

Additionally, he issued a warning that spreading unconfirmed information about any split from the Living Faith Church may be seen as an invasion of his privacy.

He said, in part, “I must declare that there are no issues with my devotion to Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel International, my church that has become home, or with my relationship with my beloved family and my beloved father, Bishop David Oyedepo, who has stood by me and supported me over the years.

“I continue to be a devoted follower of Living Faith Church, committed to serving the body of Christ.

“I implore the public to use extreme caution when interpreting material that I or any of my social media platforms have not personally shared. No more information about my association with the Living Faith Church should be published without my explicit consent as it can be construed as a privacy violation. I sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Though no formal resignation letter was made public, earlier rumours claimed that the younger Oyedepo had left his role as Winners Chapel’s youth pastor.
