Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has emphasized the importance of agriculture as a means for the youth to achieve self-reliance in food production and contribute to the economic development of the country.
Speaking at the launch of a four-day training and empowerment program for young people in agribusiness in Ado-Ekiti, Oyebanji highlighted the program as a sustainable solution to the economic challenges faced by the nation.

The governor further explained that the initiative, a collaboration between the government and YSJ Limited, was carefully designed to tackle youth unemployment and fulfill his campaign promise of providing opportunities for young people to thrive.
With the participation of 400 youths from all 16 local governments, the program aims to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the agricultural sector.
