Osun United, female squad, gets new leadership
The Osun State government has given its approval for the formation of management teams for the Osun United and Osun Babes football clubs.
For both football clubs, the government also selected coaches.
The nominations were announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by Kola Adewusi, the deputy governor and commissioner for sports and special needs.
The appointments are as follows, per the statement provided by Goke Awoyemi, the deputy governor’s chief press secretary:

“Osun United Football Club: Akin Maxwell – Chairman, Abimbola Rufus – Community Relation Manager, Femi Okenla – Marketing and Communication, Kabiru Adekunle – Team Manager, and Oyewole Opeyemi – Secretary.
“Osun Babes Football Club: Mrs. Tola Usman is the chairwoman, Wole Animasahun is the team manager, and Mrs. Ronke Ogunbanwo is the secretary.
“Osun United Coaches: Seye Ajayi – Chief Coach, Sina Afolabi – Assistant Coach I, Waheed Olapade – Assistant Coach II, Lateef Yusuf – Keeper Coach, Seyi Akanni – Medical Officer, and Akeem Adebayo Mogba – Welfare Officer.
Coaches for the Osun Babes are Bayo Adesina, assistant coach I; Kolawole Keshi; Yinka Oyeleye; custodian coach Segun Awopetu; and medical officer Omolola Seun.
