The ruling of the Appeal Court should be appealed to the Supreme Court, according to former governor of Osun State Adegboyega Oyetola and his party, the All Progressives Party (APC).
In reaction to the Appeal Court ruling, which overturned the tribunal’s verdict that had initially resulted in the removal of Governor Ademola Adeleke, Oyetola declared that his confidence in the judicial system was unwavering.
According to a statement made by Oyetola’s media assistant, Ismail Omipidan, there are good reasons to ask the Supreme Court for additional relief based on the portion of the ruling that is publicly available.

Buhari pleaded with APC members and supporters not to be deterred by the results of the Friday appeal, stating that his unshakeable confidence in God to restore his mandate remained unshaken.
The statement says, in part, “We have heard the Appeal Court’s decision, but we have not yet received a copy of it.
“But, based on the tidbits we are hearing, we think we may have a basis for contacting the Supreme Court. We continue to have trust in the legal system, and I have unwavering faith that God will fulfil His promise to restore my authority.
“So, as we move forward, I urge our fans and party members to maintain calm.”
