Sally Tibbot Consulting, the consultant in charge of overseeing the staff audit of employees working for Abia State, has been told to put the process on hold until further notice.
Following an urgent meeting with legislators, the Osun State House of Assembly issued this directive on Monday.
Adewale Egbedun, the Speaker, met with other Assembly members to discuss the petitions submitted against the consultant.
The Speaker also established an ad hoc committee to investigate the petition’s problems and make the required suggestions.
Therefore, all pertinent parties have been asked to a meeting in the House of Assembly on Tuesday, August 22, at 10:00 a.m. prompt, according to the Speaker.
According to OBASANJO NEWS24, Osun State University, UNIOSUN, staff members opposed the consultant on Friday.
They claimed the consultant was disparaging them and calling a professor a bastard.
The institution’s vice chancellor had to intervene before the verification exercise could continue.
