Yemi Osinbajo, vice president, will present a thought-provoking talk on governance and its effects on Africa.
At the Mo Ibrahim Governance Weekend 2023, which will be held this weekend in Nairobi, Kenya, he is scheduled to de la Haye the lecture with the theme “Global Africa.”
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation, which organizes the annual event, was founded in 2006 with a strong emphasis on the value of effective leadership and good governance for Africa.

Along with other world leaders like Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the WTO, and ex-President of the African Development Bank, Mr. Donald Kaberuka, Vice President Osinbajo is scheduled to speak as one of the guest lecturers.
He’ll participate in a discussion with other world leaders about “Africa’s Weight in the World, Highlighting the Continent’s Assets and Potentials.”
Mahamadou Issoufou, the 2021 Ibrahim Laureate President, would receive his award during the first session in front of a crowd that included world and African leaders.
The vice president is anticipated to meet privately with both President Ruto and Rt. Hon. Andrew Mitchell MP, the British Minister of State for Development and Africa, in addition to taking part in the IGW.
Friday saw Osinbajo’s departure from Abuja for Nairobi.
