Victor Osimhen believes that it will be challenging for opposing defenses to stop him and his attacking partner, Mauro Icardi.
Since arriving on loan from Serie A club Napoli in the summer, Osimhen has developed a strong partnership with Icardi.
The pair played actively as Napoli triumphed over Swedish club Elfsborg with a 4-3 victory in a UEFA Europa League match on Wednesday night.
Icardi found the back of the net during the match, and Osimhen also delivered an impressive performance.
“When we play as a team, we’re unbeatable. Playing alongside Icardi is thrilling; he nearly set me up for an assist and he’s truly an outstanding player,” Osimhen told the Turkish news outlet Fanatik.
“Playing alongside him is remarkable, and I believe no defense will be able to stop us when we’re on the field together.”
