For his improvement as a player, Victor Osimhen has given Gennaro Gattuso and Luciano appreciation.
Gennaro Gattuso, a former manager of Napoli, orchestrated Osimhen’s 2020 transfer from Ligue 1 team Lille.
Despite Lille’s high asking price for the Nigerian international, Gattuso made a valiant effort to get him to Naples.
Under Spalletti, who succeeded Gattuso as manager last season, Osimhen has also developed into one of the top attackers in the world.
He remarked, as reported by Tutto Napoli, “I owe a lot to Gennaro Gattuso since he worked on my motivation and improving my self-esteem, but with Spalletti, my improvement has been higher thanks to work done over the months.”
In 29 appearances for Napoli this season in all competitions, the 24-year-old has 25 goals and two assists.
