Victor Osimhen has parted ways with his agent after a failed transfer to Chelsea, signaling a major shift in his career management.

During the summer transfer window, Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker officially separated from his agent Roberto Calenda after failed efforts to secure a move to Al Ahli or Chelsea.

Both clubs were strongly interested in Osimhen, and it was reported that Al Ahli had reached an agreement with Napoli worth €70 million plus an additional €10 million in bonuses.

As part of the agreement, Osimhen was offered an attractive deal that included €40 million in yearly earnings and a reasonable release clause if he decides to make a comeback to Europe.

The deal collapsed as Napoli demanded an extra €5 million, which prompted Al Ahli to back out from the negotiation.

Osimhen’s disappointment with the results has led him to doubt Calenda’s ability in handling transfer deals, causing him to search for alternative representation.

At present, Osimhen is personally negotiating a loan transfer to Galatasaray with the assistance of Turkish middleman George Gardi.

The arrangement stipulates a straightforward loan till the season’s conclusion, with an option to terminate in January.
