Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen dedicates his goal in a match against Antalyaspor to the Galatasaray coach, showcasing his respect and admiration during the Turkish Super Lig encounter.
Victor Osimhen has shared his thoughts on his outstanding goal in Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor.
In stoppage time, Osimhen spectacularly netted Galatasaray’s third goal of the evening with an impressive overhead kick.
It was the third goal of the season for the Nigeria international playing with the Yellow and Reds.
The striker just came back to training this week following a brief period on the sidelines due to a muscle injury.
The 25-year-old dedicated the goal to manager Okan Buruk, who had celebrated his birthday on Saturday.
“The goal was amazing. Securing three points from this match makes me very happy. I dedicate this goal to our coach on his birthday,” Osimhen shared with the club’s official website.
In the first half, our performance wasn’t great. Fortunately, Mauro’s goals allowed us to take the lead. In the second half, we played much better. After a four-day break that provided ample rest, we’re ready to keep moving forward with this momentum.
