Osagie Ize-Iyamu, a candidate for governorship in Edo State, has denied rumors of a rift with former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Ize-Iyamu emphasized that he and Oshiomhole have a cordial relationship and are on good terms.
He acknowledged that while they may have disagreements, it does not mean there is a problem between them. Ize-Iyamu also stated that the decision of who becomes the APC flagbearer is not solely up to Oshiomhole, highlighting that even though Oshiomhole is highly respected in the party, he cannot unilaterally decide the candidate.
