The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has officially refuted the claims made by an individual asserting to be his son.
In a statement released by the palace spokesperson, Moses Olafare, and published by Obasanjonews.com on Thursday, it was clarified that the man in the viral video was engaging in an act of impersonation.
The matter has been reported to the appropriate security agencies for necessary action.

The spokesperson emphasized that the monarch, as a responsible father and guardian of tradition, is well aware of and recognizes all his children, and is committed to taking full responsibility for them.
The palace has also provided a list of all the children of the Ooni, along with their current locations, to dispel any doubts or misinformation.
