Onumonu’s 100th cap is celebrated by American club Gotham FC

Nigerian forward Ifeoma Onumonu received recognition from Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) for attaining 100 caps.

In 2020, Onumonu transferred from Reign FC to Gotham FC.

On October 25, 2022, the 29-year-old entered into a new three-year contract that will keep her with Gotham FC through the 2025 campaign.

The striker has previously played for the Portland Thorns and Boston Breakers.

Before committing to Nigeria, Onumonu played for the United States of America at the U-23 level.

In 14 games for the Super Falcons, she has two goals.
