Paul Onuachu has thought back on his excellent debut in the Turkish Super Lig.
The lanky striker signed a season-long loan agreement with Trabzonspor from Southampton of the Sky Bet Championship last month.
In his first three games with the Blues Burgundy, the 29-year-old had three goals and one assist.
Onuachu expressed his gratitude to his Trabzonspor teammates for helping him adjust to life at the squad.
The Nigerian international added, “Everyone here played a big part in helping me settle in. I just want to give my best to the team, help them win games, and please the fans as well.”
“It wasn’t easy at the beginning of the year, but I’m happy to have started my career on a good note here at Trabzonspor, and I want to keep getting better in every game and prove once more that I have it,” the player said.
Before making the transition, Onuachu had a terrible time while playing for Southampton.
In 12 league games for the Saints, he failed to score a goal.
