Paul Onuachu, a forward with the Super Eagles, has signed a season-long loan agreement with Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super Lig.
Onuachu moved to Trabzonspor from Southampton, an English Championship team.
Only arriving in Southampton in January, the 29-year-old struggled to make an impression at the South Coast club.
The Saints, who were demoted from the Premier League previous season, made 12 league appearances by the lanky striker without scoring a goal.
This season, Onuachu only made one appearance for Southampton.
Following in the footsteps of Anthony Nwakaeme and Ogenyi Onazi, he will be the third member of the Nigerian national team to play for Trabzonspor.
