Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu is expected to sign a permanent deal with Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super Lig.
Onuachu has agreed to join Trabzonspor on a four-year contract, according to reports coming out of Turkey.
However, negotiations to finalise the contract between the past winners of the Turkish Super Lig and Southampton of the Sky Bet Championship are still ongoing.
The striker came very close to joining Metz of Ligue 1 on Friday, but the deal fell through.
Onuachu relocated to Southampton in January from KRC Genk of the Belgian Pro League.
In 12 league appearances with the Saints, the 29-year-old failed to score.
He has not yet played for the South Coast club this year.
