Ondo: Screening process for 16 APC aspirants

The APC has officially announced that the 16 governorship aspirants in Ondo State vying for the party’s ticket ahead of the April 20 gubernatorial primaries will undergo a screening process in the near future.

The national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, has given his assurance that the aspirants will be treated fairly and equally during the primaries.

Through the deputy national organising secretary, Nze Chidi Duru, the national chairman reiterated the NWC’s commitment to upholding the rules governing the primary election process.

Furthermore, he confidently stated that the ruling party will emerge victorious in the November 16 polls and maintain its stronghold in the state.

The screening exercise is scheduled to take place on the 11th and 12th of April, with the aspirants being grouped accordingly.

Among the 16 aspirants to be screened are Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa, Olusoji Ehinlanwo, Jimi Odimayo, Jimoh Ibrahim, Isaac Kekemeke, Wale Akinterinwa, Olugbenga Oedema, Olusola Oke, Olamide Ohunyeye, Morayo Lebi, Oladiran Iyantan, Prof. Francis Faduyile, Mayowa Akinfolarin, Funmilayo Adekojo, Funke Omogoroye, and Ifeoluwa Oyedele.
