John Akinmurele, a former students leader and the sole aspirant of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the upcoming Ondo State governorship election, has been granted a unique opportunity.
The YPP has generously provided Akinmurele with both the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms free of charge. This gesture was made by the YPP National Working Committee (NWC) in recognition of Akinmurele’s integrity, impressive background, extensive experience, and leadership qualities.
The party firmly believes that Akinmurele embodies the ideals of a generational shift in leadership, emphasizing the need for young, innovative, and morally upright individuals to drive the revolution in governance.

During a ceremony held at the party Headquarters in Abuja, the National Organising Secretary of the YPP, William Moses, presented the nomination and expression of interest forms to Akinmurele.

Akinmurele, who previously served as the President of the Students Union Government at Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba Akoko, Ondo state, expressed his deep gratitude to the YPP NWC for their generosity.
He acknowledged that this opportunity has evoked a mixture of excitement and commitment within him, as he recognizes the responsibility that comes with the party’s trust in him.
