The Ondo State House of Assembly’s Speaker, Olamide Oladiji, has refuted reports that the House is split on the impeachment of Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
This was stated by Oladiji on Friday during a press conference in Akure.
He revealed that through many court cases brought against the Assembly, Aiyedatiwa is actively obstructing peace initiatives.

Remember that a few days ago, a letter from Speaker Oladiji Olamide asking the state Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola, to form a seven-member panel to look into claims of serious misconduct against Aiyedatiwa, was criticised by 11 of the 26 members of the Ondo State House of Assembly.
Days after the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leadership invited warring parties to peace negotiations, the development took place.
