Olayide Adelami, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, expressed his joy at the overwhelming support shown by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo during the primary election where they voted for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The statement was made by Adelami’s spokesperson, John Paul Akinduro, on Saturday.
Adelami conveyed his appreciation to the press after participating in the voting process at his Igboroko 2 Ward 3 in Owo, emphasizing that he was pleased to see the strong backing from the people of Owo for the Aiyedatiwa project, as they have consistently shown their dedication to it over time.

The Deputy Governor highlighted the significant turnout of supporters behind Aiyedatiwa during the voting exercise, indicating the unwavering support of the people of Owo towards him, which he believed was reflective of the positive sentiment resonating throughout the state.
Adelami commended the efforts of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and party members for ensuring a peaceful and orderly conduct of the APC primary election in the various wards that were visited, underscoring the importance of such collaborative efforts in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
