Adebowale Debo Adedayo, often known as Mr. Macaroni, is a well-known activist and content producer from Nigeria who has retracted his endorsement of the Labour Party’s election leaflet that features him.
Obasanjonews24 cites Mr. Macaroni’s endorsement of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential nominee, as his favoured choice in November 2022. However, Mr. Macaroni was clear that he would not take part in any political campaign.
However, a Twitter user pointed out the Obi-Datti campaign brochure that featured Macaroni on it on Wednesday.
Thought @mrmacaronii claimed he wouldn’t be running for office in any party, the user stated.
In a message uploaded on his Twitter in response to the tweet, Macaroni stated that he was not involved with the campaign poster and that his image had been used without his consent.
“For the purpose of clarity, let me address this once more. Because Peter Obi is my top pick, I’m casting my vote for him. Although voting is required by law, I am under no obligation to support him or any other candidate for office. However, this was published without my permission, and I have nothing against those who do the same.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage as Wizkid, reportedly planned to perform at an Obi concert, however he later distanced himself from the rumoured event.
