On July 20, court will make a decision regarding Kanu’s claim against DSS
Mike Ozekhome, the IPOB leader’s attorney, claimed that the DSS had consistently denied Kanu access to his physician.
The case filed by Nnamdi Kanu’s attorney requesting the court to order the Department of State Services (DSS) to provide him access to a doctor of his choice has been set for decision on July 20 by an Abuja-based Federal High Court.
When the case was being heard, Mike Ozekhome, the IPOB leader’s attorney, notified the court that the IPOB leader, who is being held by the secret police, needed immediate ear surgery.
Ozekhome claimed that the DSS has consistently denied Kanu access to his personal physician and has also withheld the pro-Biafra agitator’s medical documents.
In his response, the DSS’s attorney claimed that while Kanu is being held by the secret police, he is receiving appropriate nutrition and medical care.
