On January 1st, Peter Obi visited an IDP camp in Abuja [Photos]

The Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Wassa, Abuja, was visited by Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.

Obi said it on his official Twitter account while he was posting pictures from the trip.

The former governor of Anambra said that more and more Nigerians couldn’t celebrate the New Year at home because the country’s security was getting worse.

He said, “I went to see the Nigerian refugees in the IDP camp in Wassa, FCT, on January 1, 2023.

The majority of Nigerians can celebrate the New Year in the safety of their homes, but these IDPs can’t.The widespread insecurity led them to leave their houses.
