Omotola Jalade criticizes Turkish Airlines for discrimination against Africa
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, a seasoned Nollywood actress, has blasted Turkish Airlines for not playing any Nigerian films throughout her forty-hour journey.
The actress said that the airline discriminated against passengers who were African Americans.
Omotola claimed in an Instagram post on Wednesday that only films from Turkey, Asia, Bollywood, Hollywood, and the Middle East were screened during her lengthy travel.

“Dear @turkishairlines, like many other foreign companies, you might be discriminating against African Destinations and Travellers and that needs to stop,” the woman said, expressing her disappointment.
“The blatant disregard for African paying customers and lack of information permeated the relationships between ground staff members.”
“As if my 40-hour flight wasn’t long enough, I nearly lost my mind over an unexpected stop in Uganda that wasn’t included in my reservation.
“Every film from the Middle East, Bollywood, Turkey, Asia, and of course Hollywood is included. Not a single Nollywood film!
“African travellers occasionally pay more to travel to other parts of the world, so why is there such blatant discrimination and disrespect?”
