David Umahi won’t function effectively as a minister of works, according to Reno Omokri, a former presidential advisor.

He claims that the minister has already sold his respect to those ministry’s employees.

According to Obasanjonews24, pandemonium broke out last week when protesting employees shut their offices in opposition to Umahi.

According to reports, the minister barred late-arriving employees from entering the ministry.

The housing and works ministries’ union members made the decision to lock the ministry, obstructing access and preventing the minister from leaving his or her desk.

Reno Omokri argued that the minister should have held his ground and possibly used force against the workers rather than pleading with them.

David Umahi won’t do much in his role as minister of works. He’ll be average at best,” he wrote on X.

“Because his ministry staff no longer respects him. How is it possible to arrive at work on time, lock out any latecomers, have them launch a protest, lock you in, and then ask them to let you leave?

They will never again respect you. You two are now in a different position of power. Quite early.

What foolishness. If they lock you inside, you contact mobile police, subdue the workers with force, detain the ringleaders for false imprisonment, and terminate everyone right away.

“How on earth can you beg workers who were late for work? A ruler must be prepared to execute unfaithful individuals as punishment and reward for their loyalty.

Anyone who challenges you after you have followed the law MUST be put to death. What a coward!”
