Omala attack condemned by lawmaker Yahaya in Kogi
The killing of constituents in Agojeju-Odo Community of Omala Local Government Area has been strongly condemned by Hon. Umar Yahaya, the lawmaker representing Omala State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
In a statement issued to the press, Yahaya expressed his deep sorrow and described the attack as a display of man’s inhumanity towards his fellow man.
Despite his continuous efforts and resources dedicated to maintaining peace, he expressed his disappointment that some individuals with malicious intentions would target defenseless and innocent citizens.
Yahaya emphasized that this attack is one too many and extended his heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.

He assured that measures are being taken to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous act are brought to justice.
Yahaya has been actively engaging with stakeholders and the state government to find lasting solutions and restore peace in Omala Local Government Area.
He has held meetings, issued recommendations, and is continuing to work towards achieving permanent peace in his constituency.
