Among them are Tokyo 2020 Olympics silver medalist Blessing Oborodudu and World Military Champion Hannah Reuben, who both emerged victorious in their respective weight classes.
In addition to these two athletes, Esther Kolawole, Christiana Ogunsanya, and Odunayo Adekuoroye have also earned their places in the prestigious event after defeating their opponents in impressive fashion.
Unfortunately, Mercy Genesis narrowly missed out on qualification after a tough match in the 50kg weight class.
With these five female wrestlers set to represent Nigeria in Paris, the focus now shifts to the male freestyle wrestlers who will be aiming to secure their spots on the final day of qualifiers.
The remaining Olympic slots will be determined at the 2024 World Qualification Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey, scheduled for May 9 to 12.
