Ohanaeze President Iwuanyanwu declared, “I’m willing to give my life to bring about peace in the South-East.”

Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has committed to give his life in order to maintain peace and security in the Southeast.

Iwuanyanwu claimed that killing in the Southeast devalues him personally and that he will thus utilise his position to maintain peace.

He spoke at a global press conference about the upcoming September 28–29, 2023 Igbo Day celebration.

I’ll use a kinetic strategy, which will necessitate everyone’s collaboration, Iwuanyanwu stated. I will discuss peace. I’m willing to give my life to ensure that Igboland is at peace. I’ll travel to Finland and other countries to ensure that Igboland is peaceful. I’ll visit them and cry. I make a prayer to God for success.
