The All Progressives Congress (APC) governor Dapo Abiodun’s election was affirmed by the Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
Ladi Adebutu’s plea was dismissed by the three-person tribunal under Hamidu Kunaza because it was “incompetent.”
The panel rejected Adebutu’s petition while upholding Abiodun’s election in a decision that was read aloud for 11 hours.
The tribunal ruled unanimously that “the petition lacks merit and is hereby dismissed.”
