The sector commander highlighted that the special patrol operation, which commenced on April 8, played a crucial role in minimizing the occurrence of accidents during the Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
Uga pointed out that the primary causes of the road crashes during this period were attributed to factors such as excessive speed and tyre bursts, emphasizing the importance of drivers maintaining safe speeds and using quality tyres to prevent avoidable accidents.
He urged both commercial and private vehicle owners to install speed limit devices and avoid using expired tyres, stressing that these measures are essential in reducing road accidents to the lowest possible level within the state.
