Ogun Police Arrest Kidnappers, Exhume Victims’ Corpses 

Police in Ogun arrest two kidnappers and exhume the corpses of their victims, bringing a tragic case to light. Full details inside. 

The Ogun State Police Command was led by Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu to a shallow grave in Ijebu Igbo, where two suspected kidnappers, Chukwuma Bartholomew and Igwe Monday, had buried their victims after receiving ransom.

Police Public Relations Officer Omolola Odutola confirmed the incident, stating that the arrest of the two suspects was a result of a technical investigation by the anti-kidnapping squad team.

The victims’ corpses were exhumed from the shallow grave during the operation on June 28, 2024. Odutola mentioned that the suspects would face charges in court once the investigations were concluded, and efforts were underway to apprehend the other members of the gang.
