Governor Dapo Abiodun participates in the Ogun Local Government elections, praising the electoral commission for smooth conduct.

As the local government election in Ogun State begins, Governor Dapo Abiodun has cast his vote.

Abiodun reached Ward 3, Polling Unit 002 in Ita Osanyin, Iperu, located within the Ikenne Local Government Area of the state around 11:24 a.m.

After casting his vote, Abiodun praised the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) for their readiness in conducting the election.

He expressed his appreciation for the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, acknowledging their level of preparedness for the election.

The feedback I’ve received indicates that they are highly diligent. While logistical issues can sometimes occur in any election, I have been informed that currently all electoral materials have reached every corner of the state, and voting has begun earnestly.

The governor conveyed his satisfaction with the high voter turnout at his polling unit, despite the country’s economic challenges. He noted that this demonstrates citizens’ readiness to participate in governance actively.

I would like to express my gratitude to the wonderful people of Ogun State who turned out in large numbers to make their voices heard through voting.
