The transfer of Emeka Obiora to Shooting Stars has been finalised ahead of the 2023–24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
After El- Kanemi Warriors were demoted to a lower level, Obiora quit the team.
With the team coached by Gbenga Ogunbote, the footballer agreed to a two-year contract.
Following the completion of his transfer formalities, Obiora was introduced to the crowd.
He is anticipated to travel to Ijebu-Ode to join the rest of the team for the ongoing closed camping exercise in advance of the upcoming season.
September 8–10 is anticipated to be the start of the NPFL season.
