Obi triumphs in the Aso Rock voting unit

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has won the first polling place to be called in the Aso Rock neighbourhood of Abuja.

Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received six votes, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received three votes, were both candidates in the same unit, PU 131, where he received 17 votes to defeat them.
