Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has said he doesn’t have time to respond to or pay attention to Anambra Governor Charles Soludo, who repressed him on Monday.
Instead, he said that he is focused on persuading people that a new Nigeria is feasible through aggressive advertising.
On Tuesday, he addressed via Ndi Kato, the spokeswoman for The Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization.
Obi was responding to a lengthy essay by Soludo, who claimed that the LP candidate couldn’t win the 2023 presidential election.
He said that the governor yearned for attention but was unwilling to provide it to him.
Kato said that rather than wasting time refuting the lies in Soludo’s essay, Obi is still concentrating on rallying support for the effort to save Nigeria from certain doom.
“We read with amusement and dismay, a very long and embellished dissertation of an essay, written by Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State, centered on our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Peter Obi,” she said.
“It is clear that Professor Soludo is clamoring for attention during this election season, maybe stoked by the prospect of forming an alliance with our weak political rivals.
