Young folks have a huge following for the LP candidate.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) has promised to solve Nigeria’s security and economic problems in a good way if he is elected.
At a party event for the party’s presidential campaign on Saturday in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, Obi made this commitment to the audience.
The former governor of Anambra bemoaned the poor status of the country’s security and economy and vowed to change things. He was joined by his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, and leaders of the LP.
“Everyone in Nigeria feels insecure, and they live in fear,” he claimed. Nigeria needs to be stabilised and unified. By transitioning Nigeria from consumption to production, we hope to end the misery of Nigerians.
“No Nigerian will leave his village as a result of banditry when we do that.” We would protect this nation.

Earlier in the ceremony, the party’s national chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, said that Obi has what it takes to lead Nigeria well.
“He has the personality, appearance, and expertise.” He continued, “He has what it takes to alter Nigeria’s political dynamics.”
Olusola Ebiseeni, Director of the Obi/Datti Campaign Organization in the South-West and a native of Ondo State, argued that it is the South-East’s to produce the future leader of Nigeria.
He informed the crowd, “The south is turning.”
For the position of leader of the nation, Obi will compete against other strong candidates, including Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
